Well, let me tell you.
In a word, if someone forced me to use one, would be eclectic. I don’t subscribe, follow, or otherwise allow myself to be associated with anything in particular. Sounds weird I know but I like it all because I can choose from it all. My music taste goes across the spectrum from country to punk, I eat all kinds of food from Southern to Moroccan, and I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction books. I love history and I’m insatiably curious about the future and new technology. I’m just a funny kind of guy, or so I’ve been told.
I was born in the Southern United States around May of 1969 just outside of Atlanta to a working mother and father. I grew up the youngest of the brood, older brothers and an older sister, which afforded me little attention from the family unit. Kind of reversed, right? I always thought, and read, that the youngest was supposed to get all the attention, but in our house it was the exact opposite. I’m still trying to figure that one out to this day. Yet being alone did do one thing for me, it boosted an all ready fertile imagination and laid the all important ground work for my writing these days. Add to that the years of playing D&D, reading all kinds of books from Stephen King to Terry Brooks to Nietzsche, and watching every genre of movie in Hollywood’s stable and it’s pretty easy to see why I do this. It’s not only fun to write its hard coded into my DNA from birth. If I try to do something else I’m likely to explode within sixty seconds.
